Saltash Road Recreation Ground

August 31st 2021

We have identified some issues with the main support of the large mining stack in the above Recreation Ground, which has caused weakness to the structure. Work to rectify this has begun and the equipment has been closed off for safety reasons. We estimate that the work could take 3-4 days to complete and would request that members of the public please respect that the equipment has been closed off for children’s safety. If your children play in this Recreation Ground unattended, please make them aware that this particular piece of play equipment is ‘out of bounds’ for the time being. As soon as the repairs have been completed we will re-open it again. Thank you for your co-operation.
