Devon and Cornwall Food Action’s aim is to help any individual, family or community who are experiencing food poverty, or financial instability. They distribute waste produce to charities, schools and preschools. This reduces the impact of waste on the environment because it will be thrown away if not reused. The £25 cost goes towards Devon and Cornwall Food Action’s storage and transport overheads, their distributors are volunteers.
