Modifications to New Road Bus Shelter, Callington

In response to enhance public safety and comfort, Callington Town Council will be carrying out some modifications to the bus shelter on New Road aimed at addressing and reducing incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Over the past months, the bus shelter has become a focal point for anti-social activities, including loitering, vandalism and disturbances that have caused unease for residents, businesses and passengers.

After listening to feedback from the community and the Police, the Council has implemented a plan to deter this behaviour.

The work on the bus shelter will start week commencing 4th November and is expected to last one week.  During this time the bus shelter will be out of action but bus services will continue to operate.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
