Exciting News for Callington! There is a brand-new Zip Wire at Saltash Road Recreation Ground! 
To mark the occasion, our Portreeve and Mayor of Callington, Cllr Steven Pound, bravely jumped on and zipped down the line!
Joining in with the opening were Cllr Gold, Cllr Watson, and Cllr Coakley, who were all delighted to see this fantastic new addition to the park.
This project is another step in making our recreation ground a place for families, friends, and the whole community to enjoy.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this possible, we can’t wait to see children (and maybe a few adventurous grown-ups!) enjoying the new zip wire for years to come
