Cornwall Council will be writing a plan for how Cornwall will develop over the next 20 years – which sets out what can be built and where. To make the plan the best it can be, we need to know what it’s like to live where you live, and what changes you’d like to see. We’re collecting information and views to help write the plan, and you can help.
Between September 2025 and January 2026, a series of sessions are taking place across Cornwall as part of The Cornwall Local Plan: Planning to 2050. We’re inviting members of the community to join these sessions and share their thoughts about how they want the future of Cornwall to look. We want to hear about housing, infrastructure, the environment – whatever it is that matters to them about their place.
We’d be really grateful if you would share this invite with anyone who may be interested – it’s incredibly important that we hear from as wide a range of people as possible.
Do you have opinions on housing, services, facilities, your environment?
We want to hear from you how Cornwall should look in the future!
The sessions are informal, with some engaging activities and discussion tables to gather your thoughts. They are drop in so you can attend any time for any duration within the session.
Our session in Callington on 18 November is being held at Callington Cricket Club, from 11 – 2 pm, and our session in Launceston on the same date is being held at The Gateway Cenre from 4-7pm. These sessions are drop in and completely free to attend, however we’d be grateful if spaces could be reserved through the link below:
