Cornwall Resources News Update

July 06th 2020

Covid-19 has had a massive impact on businesses and Cornwall Resources Limited had to manage its affairs accordingly. All 3 staff have remained employed throughout and none have been furloughed. Work has continued on various desk based projects much of this has been achieved by working safely from home.

During the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic CRL was pleased to be able to make £500 donations to the Callington Foodbank and the Callington Band.

On the 8th June Strategic Minerals the parent company of CRL announced on the stock exchange that it had successfully raised £1.2m. This money is primarily to pay New Age Exploration the final instalment for the purchase of their 50% ownership of CRL. This final payment was announced on the 25th June and CRL’s Redmoor Project is now 100% owned by a British company registered on the London Aim Stock Exchange.

Another recent development is that Cornwall Resources have joined the Critical Minerals Association, an organisation which aims to provide a robust supply chain that can help Britain deliver its Industrial Strategy and meet the critical mineral needs of the economy. Cornwall Resources are pleased to join other companies including from elsewhere in Cornwall to help achieve this. Their website, which includes a Q&A session with CRL (under ‘news’) can be seen at https://www.criticalmineral.org/
