Help Shape the Future of Our Town
Callington Town Forum CIC is looking for new directors and members to join its committee and help keep this important community organisation active and thriving.
The Forum plays a key role in supporting local development, community projects, and partnerships that make Callington a great place to live, work, and visit. It can apply for grant funding that the Town Council isn’t eligible for, helping bring extra money into local projects and community improvements. From improving local amenities to supporting community safety and promoting the town’s heritage, the Forum helps bring together residents, businesses, and local authorities to make positive change happen.
What the Forum Does
- Promotes the social and economic development of Callington.
- Supports projects that reduce disadvantage and discrimination.
- Encourages education, training, and skills development for local people.
- Works with the Town Council, Cornwall Council, and other agencies to deliver community priorities.
- Helps to ensure that Callington’s environment and heritage are protected and celebrated.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic residents, community group representatives, and local business members to join the Forum Committee.
Whether you have experience in local initiatives or simply care deeply about Callington’s future, your voice and ideas are welcome.
The Town Forum meets around six times a year, and meetings are open, friendly, and focused on making a difference.
