Internal Audit Report
During the financial year, the Council’s Internal Auditor acting independently and on the basis of an assessment of risk, carried out a selective assessment of compliance with the relevant procedures and controls in operation and obtained appropriate evidence from the Council.

Notice of Public Rights & Publication Of Unaudited Annual Governance & Accountability Return
Each year the Council prepares an Annual Governance and
Accountability Return (AGAR). The AGAR has been published with this notice. It will not be reviewed by the appointed auditor, since the smaller authority has certified itself as exempt from the appointed auditor’s review.

External Auditor Report & Certificate
The External Auditor completes a limited assurance review set out by the National Audit Office (NAO). The auditor is responsible for reviewing Sections 1 and 2 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return in accordance with NAO Auditor Guidance Note 02.
