Market Stalls Initiative

A new sub-committee has recently been formed to consider the possibility of purchasing market stalls and equipment to aid a market stall initiative.  The Town Council has secured the finances to purchase such equipment in order to get the idea established but in order to move forward they need to ascertain if it is viable and if there is enough community support to guarantee the longevity of the project.

An inaugural meeting has been scheduled for next week, Tuesday 29th January in the Council Chamber at 6.30pm.  We would like to invite traders and residents to attend a public session at the start of the meeting to put forward constructive thoughts and ideas.

The committee will then use this information to develop the idea further.

Please come along and let us know your thoughts and suggestions. We look forward to seeing you.

Hello – we are unable to attend the meeting, but would definitely be interested in renting a market stall (along similar lines to Launceston monthly market ??)
