Education – There are two schools in Callington. Callington Primary School is in Saltash Road and takes in students up to Year 6. Callington Community College is located on Launceston Road and takes secondary school age students from Year 7 up to Year 13.

Callington Community Fire Station have a unique resource called early learning fire safety – elfs, which is available to borrow free of charge by all early years establishments (including: nurseries, pre-schools, child minder’s). The Health Centre is located in Haye Road. If you have a medical emergency you can call them on 01579 382666 or via their website www.tamarvalleyhealth.co.uk . The nearest Community hospitals with minor injury clinics are located at Liskeard and Launceston while the nearest major Hospital with Accident and Emergency cover is Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
