HELP for the elderly and vulnerable during COVID-19

March 27th 2020

To all Parishioners

If you are self-isolating, vulnerable, lonely, at risk, need vital shopping, or a prescription collected, there is just one number to call.

Callington Town Council
01579 384039

Leave a message stating your name, address and phone number with your requirements.

Your message will be picked up by one of our Town Council staff, who are working remotely.

Your call will be transferred to one of our Volunteer Group Organisers (Lions, Rotary, Battling-On, Churches Combined or Town Council Staff).

The Duty Organiser for that day will inform one of their volunteers of your message and you will be contacted by that volunteer.

All volunteers have been issued with ID cards and receipt books. This is to prove they are genuine and that you can trust them.

How you pay will be discussed between yourselves and the volunteer.

This help program is currently available between 9:00am and 2:00pm and run between Monday to Friday.  If requirements increase and the volunteers are available, we will endeavour to extend the hours.
